There was no mandatory third-party inspection stipulated in the sales contract. To eliminate critical site risks such as anti-corrosion coating peeling, pipeline joint leakage and mismatched connecting fittings, we covered all inspection expenses for an independent SGS third-party testing agency.
The inspection covered coating integrity, coating adhesion, pipe-end anti-corrosion performance and pressure suitability of sealing components. Our management supervised the whole inspection on-site under high-temperature outdoor conditions.
The dual quality control system (on-site supervision + third-party certification) sacrifices our short-term profit, yet effectively avoids costly on-site rework and project shutdown caused by pipeline leakage during field operation.
2. API 5L Line Pipe Package (Fittings & Valves Included): Full In-House Batch Inspection
For API 5L line pipes and supporting valves & connecting fittings, our professional QC team carried out comprehensive self-inspection for the whole batch.
We measured outer diameter, wall thickness, roundness and bevel dimension via precision measuring tools, verified valve pressure marking, flange dimensional tolerance and elbow forming accuracy strictly per API 5L industry standards and client construction drawings. Precise dimensional control ensures tight assembly under high-pressure oil & gas transmission conditions.

All supporting fittings, flanges, valves and sealing accessories are packed with export-grade waterproof & moisture-proof packaging to adapt to long-distance ocean transportation.
For API line pipes and valves, professional anti-rust reinforced packing was arranged.
Cargo was delivered to the port via separated inland trucks.
Our documentation team prepared two independent sets of customs documents, material certificates and internal inspection records in advance. Inland trucks delivered cargo directly to port yards for container loading.
All procedures were scheduled in advance. No port detention, container waiting or document revision delay occurred during the whole process. Both shipments sailed on the confirmed schedule punctually.
